Our Big Question:
How can I make the best choices? What are the best choices for me? Can my choices change the world?
DAILY HOMEWORK: Students should read daily!
The more students read the better they get at it. It’s like practicing for their favorite sports. Being able to read well improves their ability to learn in all subject areas. Not only that, but they also expand their vocabulary and improve their spelling and grammar skills.
Good Fit books: Students should read lots of “good fit” books. That means they can understand what they read and know most of the words. If there are more than five words on the page that a student doesn't know it is probably too hard.
