Homework
Most of our work is done during the school day. Sometimes students will have assignments to complete or test to study for. However, on a daily basis, they should practice math concepts on IXL or Reflex. If they do not have easy access to the Internet, they should ask for math review sheets or flash cards. Students can also stay behind for 20 minutes most days after school or at lunch recess to do the review with teacher support. In addition, students should read for 20 minutes each day for homework. Students can borrow books every Friday from the library and should always have a supply of good fit books.
Absences
If students miss a day, they will need to do additional homework so they don't fall behind. They can drop by after school for help to catch up. Families can email us for support if the absence is extended.
